MASTER THE VOCABULARY

The hyper-specific language of PMBOK is a lot like a foreign language.  How do foreign language lessons always begin?  First, you learn the vocabulary!

PMBOK does not do this.  They just have you start reading, trying to decipher meaning and glean inference from a jargon-packed, complicated wall of words.  It’s a tough slog.  And, worse, you miss a lot in the process, as they try to introduce technical terms while you’re reading them.  This yields suboptimal results.

So, let’s learn the vocabulary first.
